Each OX® watch is designed and manufactured to high quality standards and undergoes quality control before dispatch. This International Warranty explains the coverage offered by OX Oceanix Watches LTD and how to obtain warranty service.
This warranty applies worldwide and should be read together with our Sales Terms and Conditions, Shipping & Returns Policy, and Terms of Use.
Nothing in this Warranty limits mandatory consumer rights that may apply under the laws of your country of residence.
1. WARRANTY COVERAGE AND DURATION
1.1 Standard warranty
OX Oceanix Watches LTD (“OX®”, “we”, “us”) provides a two (2) year international limited warranty from the date of delivery or purchase (as evidenced by valid proof of purchase).
1.2 Extended warranty (registration-based)
An extended warranty of up to six (6) years may apply if the watch is properly registered in accordance with the instructions provided at purchase or on the Website. The extended warranty:

applies only to registered watches;
-
is subject to compliance with usage, maintenance, and service requirements;
-
does not extend coverage to exclusions listed in Section 4.
1.3 Scope of coverage
This warranty covers manufacturing defects and defects in materials or workmanship under normal conditions of use during the applicable warranty period.
During the warranty period, OX® will, at its discretion:
-
repair the defective watch free of charge, or
-
if repair is not reasonably possible, replace the watch with the same model or a model of comparable value and characteristics.
Replacement or repair does not extend or restart the original warranty period, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
2. PROOF OF PURCHASE AND WARRANTY VALIDATION
Warranty service requires valid proof of purchase, which may include:

the original online invoice or order confirmation;
-
an invoice from an authorised retailer or showroom (where applicable);
-
registration confirmation linked to the watch’s OX® ID number.
Warranty coverage applies only to genuine OX® watches purchased through authorised sales channels.
3. WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
This International Warranty does not cover:
3.1 Normal wear and ageing
-
scratches, dents, or cosmetic wear;
-
colour changes or surface ageing of coated materials;
-
wear of leather, rubber, textile, or similar consumable components.
3.2 Consumable and maintenance-related parts
-
gaskets, seals, O-rings;
-
lubricants and oils;
-
components subject to periodic servicing or routine maintenance.
3.3 Misuse, damage, or improper handling
-
damage resulting from abnormal, abusive, or improper use;
-
impacts, drops, crushing, broken crystals, or external shocks;
-
failure to follow the instructions provided in the user manual.

3.4 Chemical or environmental damage
-
damage caused by exposure to solvents, chemicals, fuels, detergents, cosmetics, or other aggressive substances;
-
corrosion or deterioration due to improper care.
3.5 Unauthorised service or modification
-
repairs, alterations, or servicing performed by anyone other than OX® or an authorised OX® service centre;
-
replacement of parts with non-original or non-approved components.
3.6 Straps and accessories
-
cut or modified FKM straps;
-
straps or accessories showing wear, misuse, or cosmetic deterioration not attributable to manufacturing defects.
4. HOW TO REQUEST WARRANTY SERVICE (RMA)
4.1 Contact and authorisation
If your OX® watch requires service, you must first contact OX® through:
-
the Service & Repair form on our Website: [INSERT SERVICE URL], or

by email at ox@oceanixwatches.com.
After review, we will issue a Return Material Authorization (RMA) with instructions.
Do not send your watch without prior written authorisation.
Unauthorised shipments may be refused or returned.
4.2 Shipping to OX®
Unless otherwise required by mandatory law:
-
you are responsible for securely packaging the watch, preferably in its original packaging;
-
you must use a reputable courier with tracking;
-
the watch remains your responsibility while in transit to our facilities;
-
we strongly recommend insuring the shipment.
Shipping costs to OX® for warranty evaluation are generally borne by the customer, unless otherwise stated or required by law.
4.3 Return shipping after service
-
If the repair is covered by warranty, OX® will cover the cost of returning the repaired or replaced watch to you.
-
If the repair is not covered, we will provide a cost estimate. Upon your approval and payment, we will perform the repair and return the watch at your expense.
If you decline a non-warranty repair, return shipping costs may still apply.
5. MAINTENANCE SERVICES (NON-WARRANTY)
Routine maintenance is not covered by this warranty but is essential for the long-term performance of mechanical watches.
Indicative maintenance intervals (non-binding):
-
Professional or intensive use (diving, marine or saltwater environments): approximately every 2 years.
-
Regular or casual use in non-aquatic environments: approximately every 4–5 years.
Actual service intervals depend on usage, environment, and conditions. For maintenance services, please contact us via the Service & Repair form.
6. LIMITATIONS AND LEGAL RIGHTS
This International Warranty:

is a commercial warranty offered by OX Oceanix Watches LTD;
-
complements, and does not replace or limit, mandatory statutory rights available to consumers under applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, OX® is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the watch.
