OX® and the FROG300™ emerge from an inspiring story that didn't begin in a garage but in a beach 'chiringuito' in the wonderful Almería, Andalusia.
It was a summer sunset in 2021 when Joseph Bolart - founder of OX® - made the decision to create the 'nearly perfect' Diver's watch. OX® was born with a clear ambition: to carve a distinctive space in modern watchmaking by presenting disruptive, purpose-built timepieces that dare to challenge every conventional norm.
For OX®, the spirit of the unsung heroes and of those who live exceptional, bold lives is the true essence behind our tool-watches — the people who inspire us, the ones for whom we build.

INTRODUCING FIRST
DIVER´S WATCH
The new watch brand OX® was launched globally on July 4, 2023 from the U.S., unveiling its first creation: the FROG300™ tool-watch. This groundbreaking and distinctive automatic instrument for professional divers —rated WR300M / 1000 ft— brings together traditional mechanical watchmaking with truly useful, innovative technology for the first time in history.
It is a pioneering timepiece, setting a new benchmark for the next generation of essential equipment for Divers, Rescue Teams, and land-based Explorers alike.

FIRST UNITS OF FROG300 GMT
Finally, after a tremendous manufacturing effort —as the FROG300 GMT watch does not use a single screw from the auxiliary or traditional watchmaking industry— and following some delays due to the complexity of the project, the first limited-production units were delivered to their proud owners before Christmas 2024. In doing so, they wrote a small line in the history of modern watchmaking, with the clear objective of scaling the manufacturing experience toward even more complex models.

OX® FROG300 PRO
During 2025, several specialized watchmaking media outlets praised the OX® FROG300 GMT, highlighting its differentiation, originality, and outstanding value in terms of quality, price, and performance. That same year, in late 2025, a 3-hand automatic 4Hz version was also introduced, built on the full GMT architecture but equipped with an XL Cosmoband© strap, easily adjustable over any technical suit.
It was launched during the Black Friday days, causing the first limited production run to sell out immediately. Later that year, in December, the company — originally founded in the United States — relocated its legal headquarters and offices to Hong Kong, enabling the international evolution of OX® Oceanix Watches LTD.

OX® Founder and Mastermind
The creator of OX® and the FROG300 is the responsible for marketing, design, engineering, and current communication. With a solid creative background, this mechanical engineer, master in industrial design (ETSEIB/UPC) and PSDV in sales and Mkt (ESIC - ISM) is also a NAUI Instructor #39896. He inherited the passion and love for watches from his grandfather Juan, at the early age of 7, and for decades, he successfully shared his extensive knowledge and experience in watchmaking, a personal passion now turned into a business adventure with the disruptive OX®.

OX® Partner and SZX Director
Mr. Eric fell in love with the project during the sampling process, and today, as a partner, he’s responsible for ensuring flawless production. He brings over 20 years of experience in manufacturing and assembling watch components for top brands, as well as producing his own timepieces. Together, we’re going to achieve great things!
Sky Ma
OX® SZX Production Facilities
Engineer Sky Ma is the project manager and, along with Eric, is responsible for organization and managing relationships with top suppliers needed for various parts of OX® tool-watches, such as hands, dials, straps, and quality assurance. Together with a team of about 20 people fully dedicated to OX®, this is the 'one-to-one' production team of OX Oceanix Watches LTD.

1 Let me first tell you something important, which you may not know. Proudly, the production is located in Shenzhen, a region known for hosting the best consumer to near-luxury watchmaking in the world (and we say world because many of the major European brands, including Swiss watchmaking companies, Japanese and American brands produce here partially or totally). And not only that, Shenzhen is becoming, by leaps and bounds, a futuristic city, cradle of companies such as the all-powerful technology companies Foxconn (Apple supplier), Xiaomi or Huawei...

ENGINEERED IN SHENZHEN
OX® had its first headquarters in the United States, and now operates from Hong Kong. Each watch is meticulously manufactured with the utmost dedication in Shenzhen, within our new facilities center. The OX® SZX Center produces key components such as case molds, crowns, and clasps, and receives parts from top-tier suppliers — including the premium True GMT caliber sourced from Miyota® Japan (Citizen® Movement Division) and customized in-house. All of these elements come together to create every FROG300 timepiece.
ALWAYS LIMITED PRODUCTION
The production capacity is currently adjusted by a selected technicians and watchmakers, and it will continue to be so as part of our strategy. We will never produce on a massive scale: all the OX FROG300 watches are limited in production, and then and in parallel we have the limited edition units too. They are and will always be something special, and achieving that requires a special commitment at every level. The best part of this whole story? The final sales price, a very reasonable price for the watch connoisseurs, is also an important aspect of the 99,9% perfect watch that you can enjoy...
